Australian Greens Senator for Queensland Larissa Waters and Leader of the Australian Greens Senator Christine Milne are visiting Toowoomba, and as part of this visit are holding a public meeting on the effects of coal and coal seam gas in the Toowoomba region.  Larissa Waters will talk about the current political issues around Coal and Coal Seam Gas mining and what is happening at the Federal level.  Christine Milne will talk about her experience in running environmental campaigns in regional areas and the big picture issues like climate change.  There will be an opportunity for questions so that community members can ask their questions and make their voice heard.
